Like each week-end, Ryan helps out his grand-father who's living alone in his old countryside house. However, both seem unable to communicate with each other, avoiding the obvious grandfather's deteriorating health.

Through Ryan's eyes, the two men will observe each other, confront each other, hate each other, and finally find each other when a tragic piece of news brings out their deepest emotions despite them.
